Governor of Karaman, Mehmet Fatih Çiçekli, visited and inspected the city’s historical and cultural landmarks, including Karaman Castle, Kavas House, and Kale Bath. During his visit, he received detailed updates from officials on both ongoing and planned restoration efforts for these important sites.
Accompanying Governor Çiçekli were Ali Yener Terlemez, General Secretary of the Provincial Special Administration; Murat Pekergin, Director of Provincial Culture and Tourism; and Gülgün Atalay, Director of the Konya Restoration Region.
Governor Çiçekli emphasized the significance of preserving these historical and cultural sites, which serve as a bridge between the past and present. He noted that protecting these landmarks is essential for promoting Karaman’s heritage and boosting its tourism potential.
